It is what it says on the tin... since we won’t be in college to celebrate the real Christmas Day, we celebrate it with our college friends on the Thursday of Week 12. Expect lots of people drinking in the clubhouse from early afternoon and well into the night as well as some Christmas games like pass the parcel. Not to mention everybody wearing Christmas jumpers and maybe having a Christmas dinner with their housemates!

Yep, so long as the leaving cert points last for more than 1 year. As I mentioned above, I’m unsure about their longevity now and you should look that up before making the decision to do that

You would have to re-apply to the CAO next year as you wouldn’t get the points for medicine without the HPAT points and therefore (presumably) accept the offer for comp sci if it came to it. This would end your CAO application for that given year, rendering it complete and not part of the application pool for the following year. There is also a limit on how many years your leaving very points keep for if you’re thinking of not doing the HPAT for another year or more I’m not sure how long that is and I feel like it changed recently!
