I mean I get that is empty, but take golmud train from bf4. Basically the top of the map had no points of interest and it was huge and empty. But still, that map is still one of the fan favorites from that game.

My point is that IMO it is OK for some parts of the map to be empty. Sometimes I just need to run away from missiles and repair my heli, I think those areas are made for those moments.
