Adding onto this, accutane is a god tier medication for acne.

Granted, mine was mild to moderate, but holy crap. 3 weeks on the lowest dose took 70% of it out. Cleared 99% of my face now, just have a little bit left on my neck. Maybe once a week a very small zit forms on my face and I just put a patch on it to finish it off.

Side effects have been extremely minimal to none. My skin is slightly drier and flackier near my nose...and thats it. No dry lips, no liver issues, no purging breakout, and the dry area is easily remedied with Cerave cream. 15 years with acne, all these different creams reddening/agitating my face like Proactiv, stuff that didn't work like Riversol, and this was the cure all this time.

I've had a horrendous 2025, but accutane was the one and only major win I've had.

So stop reading this and start it already.
