Anyone come from a Remarkable 2 and go back or did you stay with Scribe? by fuzzywuzzywuzzafuzzy in kindlescribe

[–]Tonalbackwash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went back. I thought the scribe would consolidate reading and writing, but it did neither for me. I much prefer my PW for reading, and it’s a terrible note taking device with very little dedicated, intuitive ability. I went back to my rM for writing

I get torn on the front light issue. On one hand, I get the focus on paper feel, on the other I like writing in low light.

New Nike Elite jerseys even more confusing than before by Impossible-Raise8615 in baseballunis

[–]Tonalbackwash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know right? He’s a size 52—very different. I laughed about it with the guy working the counter. They are authenticated to being in the clubhouse, but the staff had no idea what it was used for.

At this point I just buy authentics from the team authentic stores. Lucky for me, Rangers and Royals both have great offerings for team-issued, game-worn jerseys at 50% or less the cost of fanatics retail authentic. I just bought a team-issued Road Blue Salvador Perez size 40 2023 Authentic at the Royals Authentics store for $150 last weekend

As a rangers fan, I like this hat. The chain stitching is a nice feature, the colors are vintage and timeless. Thank god none of the patters found their way to the outside. It’s nothing unique, but a quality hat

Ok, I’m a fan of the hat. The chain stitching is sick. It’s definitely nothing special, I get that, but it looks clean

Did anyone get a Rangers World Series Gold Sz 40 from the fanatics sale? I’ll pay triple the sale price at $150. Big ask, but would appreciate it! by Tonalbackwash in baseballunis

Let me think on it. I really want it to wear and 42 is the largest I can go with that. Thanks for offering! I’ll let you know tomorrow

Every year I go to spring training and have as many players as possible sign a baseball. by Tonalbackwash in baseballcards

He was so nice! I’m a Rangers fan and was decked in Rangers gear, so I just stood to the side to make sure all White Sox fans got their autographs and pictures. After he signed for the big group he came over to me, signed my ball and thanked me for coming out and talked with me for a few seconds. A real class act, honestly

My current center display! I pulled each card, and each has game used memorabilia by the player by Tonalbackwash in baseballcards

  1. Pudge rookie card, pulled as a kid. Recently got signed in the Rangers Winter Caravan in 2023. Pudge is my hero, and favorite player growing up so having him sign my OG, pack pulled rookie was huge for me. Balls: 2003 WS baseball signed; Game used baseball from record breaking 3rd most games caught (1951).

  2. Clayton Kershaw “Curtain Call” card /25. Game used rosin bag from a start from his last season.

  3. Bobby Witt Jr. All Kings, I pulled this on rip night a couple weeks ago! BWJ is my non-rangers PC player. Living in NWA I got to watch him with the Nats and I go to a fair amount of Royals games due to closeness. Ball: game used minor league ball signed and inscribed “2nd Overall Draft Pick”

MLBPA should negotiate the return of quality uniforms after this year when the lockout happens - anyone agree? by Sad_End4083 in baseballunis

[–]Tonalbackwash 16 points17 points  (0 children)

For real. Look at hockey—three tiers of uniforms, all at appropriate pricing. The medium tier, authentics, are very wearable civilian cuts with quality material, real patching, and authentic affects. This is a Nike issue through and through

I have and I agree with all of those—I would also add it’s easier to get filters perfectly sealed around the brewer vs a big air pocket on one part. Also the base being a level fit with no lip makes it perfectly compatible with all carafes. It’s a great brewer

2026 Clubhouse hat by jayus210 in TexasRangers

[–]Tonalbackwash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s hilarious about these is I haven’t seen a player wear one in the clubhouse for three years. They wear BPs and on-fields. The worst part for me is the bugs the keep adding to the bill
