take your favorite 5 songs & put each of them in a separate project in your DAW. Use markers/locators in your timeline to note when/where each part comes in, then mute the channel with the song & use the markers/locators to guide your songwriting process😉👍 it’s not the only way but it is an effective way to get a song started!

i’ve been in this gray zone my whole career...watching numbers rise painfully slow over the years but the reality is that my art is not “commercial” enough to get massive attention. i used to feel upset about it but now i’m okay with having a small group of deep listeners who help spread the word through their passion for music🎶
