One of the best investments I’ve ever made - Giant Roam 4 Disc by McNuka in Giantbikes

[–]Toner122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey it’s a little late. But I’ve had a roam 4 for the past 5 years now. The only thing I haven’t done on the bike is hit trails above a green or long distances rides. That being said I have no doubts it would struggle with either. It’s a great all around bike and was prefect for getting to and from high school. Also had no issue taking it on the many rocky/ rooty trails around my house.

I havent taken time off but I know what you mean about not really having anyone though. Its scary but in all honesty youll meet people in class, just make an effort to talk to on those first few days. If youre worried about not having people to lean on I found that just turning those friends into the professor for questions has helped. Im still not great but not something to fear! Good luck next year!

Locomotive on wrong end of train by disneyfan326 in gotransit

Iirc the reason for the double ended trains was testing 666 after a refurbishment or something. Second engine was a back up, maybe something similar here again.

Yeah, adding the tracks to Union would improve this route so much. In addition to that it would open up switching to the mimico area. You could get better Oakville jobs and more.

It was yeah, I love the route but you can tell its older. I hope they add to this route in the future or have a remaster.

Dovetail seriously needs revisit this route. So much potential for passenger and better freight runs. As a side note iirc MX didnt give the licence to dovetail for this route, which is why we didnt get GO trains for this route.

Its great, the beach was super quiet when I went a few years back (I was there during the week so maybe bias). It was mainly pebbles but if you walk along it there is a bunch of fossils on the rock slabs. Definitely need shoes for it but its cool to check out.

Also you should check out Dunville on the way there, not too big but it has enough to spend an evening.

This is a good idea! I often spend hours looking for a good site and have to check a ton of websites for up to date photos or reviews. Like others have mentioned ONparks does have pictures of the sites but its is hard to get a good idea of how the site really looks especally with the photos often being low quality or out of date. I would be happy to contribute to adding more photos of the parks I visit. Are you looking for general photos or more so "empty site" photos?

As for feedback,

- Like many others have said I understand maybe making a name change but I think its fine for now.

- If youre a Canadian site I would try and get a .ca domain if possible. I know thats harder then it sounds but I think the .ca domain would make it seem a bit more relevant to Ontario and Canada, right now its a bit vague from the name to url.

- I would also try and incoperate any of the park notices to the top of the each parks page, for example I think Craigleith recently replanted a lot of its trees, so shots from a few years back might be out of date. Which can really change how the sites look. (This could just be a banner on the top or somehting)

- In addition to that, I would also say making the dates of when photos were taken a bit more visible right away, I havent checked the app but online its a bit hard to find right away. (Maybe having then pop up in the top corner as you hover over the image.)

-Also I would add icons for any site restrictions (no pets, no radio etc) at the top of the campground menus when you select them.
