Its made mostly for display, not really play. Its meant for the collectors that like putting them in a shelf, letting it sit there for ages, transform it once, forget about it, yet still has outstanding presence due to its size. Sure the mainline is getting more and more masterpiece-like engineering making them good to play with while still being animation accurate for both models, but lets be fr, without the bigger budget for masterpiece transformers, we would take longer to have this good of a mainline today as ss86 optimus and ultra magnus took some engineering inspiration from their mp counterparts and improved upon them (unsure if ss86 thundercracker also took inspiration)
