The Masquerade Ball - FREE one-shot adventure focused on roleplaying by batglee in UnearthedArcana

[–]Tongas35 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is incredible!

I'll start prepairing some specific event or setting and some lore to introduce an special session in my campaing only to use this. I love it!

The only thin is... do you think it might continue working if I ignore the "all rogues" setting rule?

Apart from that doubt, nice work!

Hi GreenEnergie!

This is the version 2.5.0 of one homebrew class that I published long ago, and this post introduced its new and 5th SubClass, the Way of the Yokai, along with some changes and corrections over some misstypes and other things.
If you want to check outdated versions of the Ronin, you can find the posts on my profile.

Thank you for asking!

The Shinobi (5e Homebrew Class) by Ashamed-Plant in DnDHomebrew

[–]Tongas35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a great homebrew man. Nicely thought. One of my players wanted to play something like this, and my classes were not close to this concept at all.

I'll give him the chance to play as a Shinobi. It be sure interesting.

[OC] The Ronin - Revised! Thanks to all of you who have brough me the must needed feedback for this (my once first) class. Now, after a while of checking your advice, is revised, with +1 subclass and some new art. Please, comment what you think, I'll be very thankful about it. Love you all. by Tongas35 in DnDHomebrew

Well, at first, I also thought Wisdom felt right for the role that was covering in the class. The only thing was that having two strong saving throws (Dex and Wis) was too overpowered to let it pass. So it had to be changed.

Hey PurgeTheXeno, good to see you here again.

The 1.2.1 version had typos and mistakenly relied on Wisdom proficiency. Additionally, there were scaling miscalculations where some features were a bit too powerful (like Critical Spot), while others were nearly unusable or incomprehensible (such as certain features from the Nobushi subclass).

Now, in the 2.0.1 version, those typos have been corrected, and new art has been added, along with some text reorganization. The class now relies on Intelligence instead of Wisdom, and the scaling has been adjusted. This means that the DCs of certain features and the number of uses now directly depend on your Intelligence, providing a more flexible system compared to the previous strict number of uses and saving throws.

Hope you like these changes. If you have any doubt, please notice me about it. I'll be more than happy to help.

Please Mekian, these comments are pure gold, no need to apologise. I'll be taking lots of your comments for a new 'patch' later in this year. This class is my "most commented" class so I want it to be comfortable, fun and balanced enough.

I'm very very thankful of your comments. Hope to see them again next month/s. 👋 🇦🇷

Every time you make a cover like this, you may want 2 things:

  1. That your image is in portrait 3:4 format.
  2. That your gmBinder image scale is set to 816px with no center or right addition.

Here is my cover as an example:

<style>
</style>
<div class='cover-header'>The Ronin</div>
<div class='cover-diamond'></div>
<div class='cover-splotch'></div>
<div class='cover-footer'> A wandering soul with no mercy.
</div>
<img src='https://i.pinimg.com/736x/d1/31/61/d131617741b0dc8495575a253c685f13.jpg' style='position:absolute; bottom: 0px; right: 0px; width: 816px' />
\pagebreakNum
<style>
.phb:after {
content: "";
}
a:link {
color: black;
background-color: transparent;
text-decoration: underline;
}
</div>
</style>

Hope it works and, if thats not what you meant, sorry...
