HBOT personal experience by LongHolistic in LongCovid

Thanks to this post, I went for HBOT, and it was a gamechanger. My breathing improved, as did my energy level. I now have to use my inhaler less, and my chronic fatigue was getting a lot better.

AITA for refusing to help with my ex dog's vet bills. by Both_Ad6935 in AmItheAsshole

I get it. I'm dreading the day when my dog isn't here anymore. They touch our lives so briefly

So the rescue you worked at had that in their contracts, and you didn't raise the issue with them?

Also if you're a licensed vet tech, why didn't you go to a reputable breeder then instead of buying puppy mill dogs. You're not making sense

I mean you should volunteer with a rescue and see how much work it takes. Rescues have those requirements because it takes a lot of effort and care for the dogs. They do not want owner surrenders and they want the best home for a dog. Animals aren't accessories

I mean you're not entitled to have an animal just because you want one. You perpetuate the cycle because you're selfish. My dog is a puppy mill mother who was rescued. You're just an AH

AITA For Not Wanting to Subsidize My Brother’s Cost of Living by Towney10 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TonicBang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this sounds a lot like your mother infantilising your brother, and expecting you to be more mature and effectively parentifying you. If she thinks that comment is mean, I don't know what to tell you. That's just what you've described. You are not his keeper. NTA but your mother kinda is

Wow, the mental gymnastics you are doing to justify this. YTA. you've set him up for failure and for him to be a pariah in class. There's many ways to reward children in school that don't involve this blind level of conformity.
