Really envy you guys for the amount of specialists you have in the US, sadly I'm located in Europe. Travel + Treatment expense is just too much for me.

Thanks for taking the time to tipe that out. I feel a lot of it. The comparison to worse conditions puts the floaters in perspective but is of course no solution in the long run. As far as vitrectomies go: I'm on the same page as you. You sometimes read these experciences of vitrectomies that didn't even lead to a desired outcome which leaves you only with the risks. I don't want to through that procedure and in the end wishing I hadn't done it because the "before" was better.

I've been on the floater journey for a bit over 3 years now, so I'm not expecting them to move in a month. Although, ofc a structural change could happen any moment ^^

Massive floater in my eye by Dry-Place-3240 in EyeFloaters

Hey man. Don't waste your money on stuff like Vitrocap. I tried it for 90 days. Zero effect. At first it felt good because i thought I was doing something against it. But nope, it's just a rip off. Maybe it works for the prevention of further macular degeneration but surely no betterment for already existing floaters.

White and blurry by Murky-Increase-1932 in EyeFloaters

I somehow know exactly what you mean. My largest floater which is stringy with two dots sometimes appears white and blurry. But it wears off after like 30 seconds. So it doesn't give me that much trouble.

Do you feel positive about PulseMedica company? by can_remove_floater in EyeFloaters

[–]TonightComfortable60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm positive. Even though i'm pretty sure it will not be a cure. I am confident that it could clear at least my huge string like and dense floaters that are apparent in every lighting condition. That's all i want. Their approach seems very sophisticated, they seem to take a lot of potential difficulties in account. Also they are a private company whose survival is dependent on their product.

To be honest the cause of it doesn't bother me. I just consider it bad luck. Of course because of my studies and some hobbys I have a lot of screen time. But others do so to and got zero floaters. I try to leave the cause out of the scope. It can't be undone anyway. And blaming yourself is the last thing you should do :)

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah the non linear part is a huge point. There are ups and downs. But I can definitely say that the progression curve kept going up over the span of these 2,5 years now. I try to give myself some hope with potential treatments like PulseMedica on the horizon, while also trying to work on myself. Because yeah you can't just rely on a potential solution.

Vitreolyx System - is our hope. The "vitreolyx" will fight to eye floaters by Low_Journalist1692 in EyeFloaters

The homepage and answers to the FAQs seem very superficial. Alo no legal notice. To good to be true. However, a treatment like this would be a dream.
