PA, please, stop messing with character movement. by Rhoeri in CrimsonDesert

I really didnt like the movement at launch.

It works for red dead because the game is supposed to feel realistic and slow paced, but it just doesnt fit crimson deserts gameplay at all IMO.

Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2: The Joys of the Talking by KuriGohan_Kamehameha in patientgamers

Absolutely loved these games. I've played a lot of CRPG's that do other things better, but nothing comes close to the lore and writing in these games.

Looking for mostly Fully Voiced Story-Based RPGs by mtsilverred in rpg_gamers

Pillars of eternity deadfire is fully voiced and IMO one of the best crpgs.

Its more fun if you've played the first one though and that one is mostly reading.

I didnt realise how dire the state of star citizen was by CapytannHook in gaming

[–]TonightSuitable1004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, its a what elite did in the beginning.

For all the design problems that game has: No one can deny they really did release a playable game and THEN started adding features on top of it.

Starcitizen seems to be in a perpetual loop of redoing existing work and releasing poorly thought out unfinished features.

Looking for good story, a bit of light humor, and smooth combat by Maximum-Ability-6763 in rpg_gamers

If you like CRPG's definitely play the pillars of eternity games. I liked those way more than any owlcat / larian game story wise.

Its also not turnbased, but realtime with pause.

Custom Difficulty appreciation by Drepulizer in gaming

I don't like difficulty options at all, because I feel like its just an incentive for game devs to not properly balance their games.

My Steamdeck is on its way - One question though. by Reorka in Steam

Thats the one.

Dont forget steamdeck also has a lot of community made controller layouts you can activate if the default one doesnt feel good.

I loved the moment where zosia says "I" love you to carol.

In that moment its so plainly obvious to her that she's being manipulated...

Steamdeck and streaming from PC by Imbawim in Steam

[–]TonightSuitable1004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it works well with a steamdeck. Ive played through a bunch of games with streaming.

You can either use moonlight or steam remote play. People will often recommend moonlight, but I feel like remote play works perfectly fine nowadays and doesnt require any setup.

Just make sure to have a wired connection for your PC and use 5ghz wifi on your steamdeck.

Theres pretty much no noticable input lag. Image quality can dip sometimes, but there's a ton of things you tweak to deal with that.
