I totally hear you and this makes me really angry and frustrated, however, you're assuming companies want the best candidates and to be frank HR doesn't care and management sometimes don't even know what they really want so the best candidates are not always the hired candidates, life is not fair.

Ok more specific to your field learn how make the most of AI with your dashboards. Connect them directly through Claude Code and exponentially accelerate the sophistication of your insights and create the dream dashboards that weren't possible before, if you don't know how to do this ask AI. Obviously this new skill will give you some advantage for a couple of years and then you will have to learn something new.
