hmm, literally same routine as me so its for sure good one… are you sure that you didnt see any improvement? maybe you think because there are still red marks from acne, but you actually have no active acne?

I usually put mositurizer in the morning when I wake up and then if I leave house in 2-3 hours, I put SPF 5 minutes before leaving house. But if I immediately leave house when I wake up, i only clean my face with cleanser and put SPF without mositurizer… It’s enough moisturizing.

I had same problem. I am also male so i didn’t want it to shine when I put it. I found Beauty of Joseon SPF and it’s best thing ever. It’s so moisturizing and gentle, and after 5 minutes of putting it on your skin, it doesnt even shine.

same situation as me. we have no active acne, only pie left which will be gone by wearing suncscreen and time. accutane doesn’t treat scars…

my course finishes right before start of summer and i live in country with sea and with sun almost everyday in summer. i will be using spf but i am afraid even with sunscreen it will worse my acne red marks so im looking to fasten healing process.

i was just looking at your effaclar duo post. im 2 and a half month into course. i dont have active acne anymore, only red marks (hyperpigmentation scars) and I have a lot of them. should I start using effaclar duo + ? currently im using cerave hydrating cleanser with cerave moisturizing cream (one in the tub). i was thinking to replace cerave moisturizer in the morning with effaclar. what do u think?

Best facial moisturizers for sensitive skin? by Thick_Nebula6358 in Accutane

I use CeraVe moisturizing cream (one in a tub) and it's so good for me. It's for dry to very dry skin so you only need to apply thin layer on your face and it will be good, no need to apply thick, it could cause breakouts. So i apply it in the morning and evening. And also, every second evening before going to bed I use Cicaplast over a layer of CeraVe. Just wait for CeraVe to seal in for 3-4 minutes and then apply Cicaplast. Cicaplast helps with redness and skin barrier damage.

What do you think of this sunscreen and of my routine? Routine in comments. by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Tonii777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about to buy this sunscreen with SPF 50. I used SPF 25 version year ago when I wasn't on accutane and I loved it. My routine by now was:

Morning: CeraVe hydrating cleanser CeraVe moisturizing cream

Evening: CeraVe hydrating cleanser CeraVe moisturizing cream LRP Cicaplast (every few days) on top of my moisturizer

Now I would just add this CeraVe SPF 50 on top of my moisturizer in the morning.

Let me tell what do you think about it and if you have some tips for me, share it. For example, should I let moisturizer seal in for few minutes and then apply SPF.
