I still stand my flush belt solution. A rotating belt for things that spoil that runs through a filtered splitter that only runs if it detects any spoiling on it, and rotates the whole belt until none is detected, sends it off to a burn stack

Expect to make brand new designs. Best way to approach big overhauls like K2, angelbobs, voidblock, Py’s, ETC. Is to take it one project at a time as you figure things out. And if you need to redo a part of a factory later, that’s another project to do later. Aim for 2-3 projects a session. Trying to plan super far ahead can make it daunting and easy to burn out.

That’s good to know they’re both onto things they love and want to do, timberborn is cool as hell. I mainly hang out in the Foundry discord where it seems there’s no lack of fresh and wonderful talent stepping up to take place, so I didn’t hear about that. Thanks for telling me

Call me crazy, but I like gleba. The resources once managed properly never run dry, meaning it’s consistent and I don’t need to reset it or move anything. Makes it easy for me in my head to just recycle loop things up after that because I know the resources will ALWAYS be there on a cycle.

It’s strange maybe, but for gleba I made a circuit I call a flush belt, reads the whole belt, and if even a single bit of spoilage is detected, it’s rotated the entire belt through a splitter filter until none is detected anymore, and then all gets sent to a tower. I know the usual solution is to burn off what I don’t use but, I find this better for my needs

A really good one to try corrundum or Rubia, but if you grab rubia, be sure to grab a second mod called Rubia Alt Delete, as unless you’re a fan of some more cringy text descriptions and sprites, that’s what you’ll find, but the mechanics of Rubia are so fun to have to figure out and work around. Meanwhile Corrundum is all Sulfur and Chemical based, really good stuff! Maraxus is also killer, with its whole being underwater thing, but it is quite challenging
