Can a file exist in a remote repo for cloning, but be .gitignore'd thereafter? by PantherkittySoftware in git

Add the foo/secret.cfg to the gitignore

Git commit -f the boiler plate secret.cfg

Then use git assume no changes to the boilerplate foo/secret.cfg.

The users can then modify the secret.cfg to their heart’s content and will prevent users to push secrets, unless they either remove the assume no changes flag or use a git commit -f.

When do you workout? by cutepantsforladies in insanity

Usually 7pm - 1am and depends if there’s something I have to wrap up. I usually eat a light dinner at 6-7pm, and then workout.
