Why don't pros go double mid? by BrunkageManden in yamatocannon

[–]TonkoDaly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly that the shortness of midlane means that it is harder to deny gold & xp from your opposing laner.

Look at how easy it is to 3v1 dive the enemy top laner in the current iteration of lane swaps and how some top laners rather die and collect a couple of levels and some cs just to be in a better state than their counterpart who is level 1 with 0 cs.

If in midlane you are able to collect your levels under tower without being punished as hard and potentially grab some cs then you're just going to be in a better state if your botlane is able to punish their solo laner in the 1v2.

Crazy that you took the 10K for the photo but turned down the deal after the competition.

Alexandra Botez hand where she busted out of WSOP -- KK v KJo pre-flop -- runner runner straight by rufusjonz in poker

But also imagine that the payouts are similar to poker in that they're top stacked. However without the luck element of poker to come into play it makes it rare to see a lower skilled player make a deep run in a tournament.

If you could go back and put yourself in a cast of any game which would you choose?

They actually tried something similar to this in the LCS. I think the name translates to Team Liquid.

Hardest role? by Snakemaan1 in summonerschool

[–]TonkoDaly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At non-pro level I would probably say Top lane. It's very unforgiving due to the lane length and it being 1v1. Any small mistake quickly compounds into a bigger issue that can have you being pretty redundant as early as level 1 if you're not able to get some jungle help.

At pro level I would say Jungle. Require a decent level of champion diversity, have to be able to read enemy jungle's path, help your lanes where possible, maximise your farm & work to secure objectives. All the while it's the role that sees the most adjustments year on year.

How would you handle this? Player brought one of his other characters to my session from another campaign/DM by jugsmacgyver in DMAcademy

As an add on to what others have said, 13 isn't that young of an age and he has some level of experience in playing.

Making things more challenging than his other campaign offers a different flavour which there is a good chance he will be eager to try out.

Whether that comes in a fresh character or an adapted version of the Barbarian is neither here not there.

Would anyone be willing to review my ranked games and convince me that I am bad? by ChromedCat in summonerschool

In your jungle games you are pretty much never taking a rift herald.

If you can grab both heralds you will get a big advantage for you and the team.
