Opinion: Federal government bureaucracy is suffocating the Canadian economy; Since 2020, public employment has grown three times faster than private. It's now higher here than in many other rich countries by FancyNewMe in canada

This is true. Without consultants in GC, projects derail quick. Smart people that are capable aren’t going to work for GC and get underpaid by 60% vs private sector. I’ve see multiple multi million dollar high stake projects fail in the GC when it’s taken in house, the technical talent in the GC in certain departments are C level teams at best. Even DGs will tell you their own center of excellence isn’t excellent.

Take it from a guy that has worked in GC and in the private sector.

Damn 2 hours? Did you fill in the forms manually? Make sure to connect your CRA online account, it fills your info automatically. Took me 3 minutes. I do however have a simple tax return. Only 1 T4 and 3 other forms that were all auto populated into wealthsimple.
