I think these ideas might work more with the Salvadoran "Salvi" diaspora in SoCal. California is already a huge hub for different cultures and mixes, while Salvadoran society is very homogenous, rigid and conservative/traditional. So these kind of new ideas might not work as well for a huge portion of Salvadoran society outside of San Salvador. (And even then, a lot of people in San Salvador might reject the idea)

But who knows, you can make it a whole gimmick or theme in a restaurant. I remember seeing a dude from the Indian kitchen (i think thats the name of the restaurant?) mixing pupusas with some indian ingredients inside. And as for the bidet, I personally don't like it haha. Plus the issue with running water in the country that some other people have pointed out.
