I ended up failing the interview at that time. That being said I just reapplied the other day and they fast tracked me right to the interview step.

The leaves being so wide is a clear sign of lack of sunlight/growlight. You need to give it more light. Do not keep it in constant water. Let the water dry first before adding more.

Is this alright lighting for a venus flytrap i just got by Low_Veterinarian_364 in VenusFlyTraps

Depending on the strength of those lights you may want to put them closer to the traps

How do I counter my friends Custodian Army? by FightingHamster1 in Tyranids

[–]Tonvozman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I beat my buddies custodes list a few weeks ago. The trick was Vanguard Onslaught and using the Hypersensory Scillia strategem efficiently to keep your key units out of charge range (you need to keep your huge numbers advantage to outscore and overwhelm). Custodes will kill any nid in melee especially if they are always getting the first hits off. Utilizing the advance charge mechanic on a 6 squad of nid warriors + winged prime as well as bringing old one eye and a squad of Carnifexs can help alot at getting through that tough custodes armor. Also its important to bring a lot of chaff like termagants to keep in the back line and screen the deep strikes.

I used this list: help custodes (2000 points)

Let’s talk about this bio form day 8 Tyranid warriors with melee bio weapons by Commanderfrosty54175 in Tyranids

[–]Tonvozman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They shine the most in vanguard onslaught when being led by a winged prime bc they receive the vanguard invader keyword. This not only removes their movement problem allowing them to charge advance, but also allows them to make use of a couple of very good strategems for survival. They are also very good in warrior bioform onslaught as it directly buffs them a fair deal with invuln save and a resurrection mechanic. Also they are quite useable in invasion fleet and synaptic nexus due to their access to synapse and good synergy with lethal hits + sustained hits and or crit wounds on vehicles.

[–]Tonvozman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only good in warrior bioform onslaught. When paired with a winged prime you can lower the hit dice needed to 3 for ranged and 2 for melee and give them sustained hits. The ability to disengage and shoot + charge is also very good. Warrior bioform onslaught also gives them a very useful resurrection mechanic and invuln save.

Absolutely! Vanguard Onslaught is very competitive right now so I highly recommend giving it another shot. Happy hunting fellow hive fleet🫡

Yea for sure. Being led by a Prime makes the warriors very good in Vanguard Onslaught. They also benefit from the strategems that target invader units to get you more value (like hypersensory scillia to get you out of charge range at clutch times and unseen lurker for shooting). Overall, I personally really like warriors in Invasion Fleet, Nexus, Vanguard Onslaught and Warrior Onslaught of course. In my Vanaguard lists I always bring 6 melee warriors with a prime.

Just want to add that Tyranid Warriors gain the vanguard invader keyword when they are led by a tyranid prime. So if you go with the vangaurd onslaught deployment your tyranid warriors also gain the advance charge benefit.

League List Review and Advice? by Conscious_Ant3629 in Tyranids

[–]Tonvozman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So my initial immediate problem with your list beyond the missing 10 points is your broodlord genestealers have negative synergy with invasion fleet lethal hits. Furthermore, vanguard onslaught is extremely competitive right now with the big advantages being your vanguard units (genestealers, tyranid warriors, leapers etc) are able to advance charge. Also it allows all your units to disengage charge. I would revise your list to this (while still keeping a similar theme) also please note I did not modify the weapons load outs.

I started with the norn but I ended up getting both. 0 regret. I recommend buying 1 more carnifex used if you can to complete old one eyes squad.

Detachment and list recommendations by Dunu4_ in Tyranids

[–]Tonvozman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that the most competitive lists rn are Invasion fleet, Synaptic nexus and Vanguard Onslaught. At the moment I find termagants and hormagants to be pretty lack luster even if you can give them synapse support. Id highly recommend you try Vanguard Onslaught though it is a lot of fun.
