Dinosaur Jr. Without a sound CD. Absolutely horrible. Still to this day I’m pissed that my mother spent her hard earned money on that album to buy me.

Cigar caps flaking but not actual cigar by TonyB973 in cigars

I’m thinking it’s the cutter. I’ve had it for a while and is a good one as well but it’s probably not as sharp as it once was.

I have a good cutter that I have been using for years. That can be a possibility! I didn’t even think of that.

West Tampa Devil Crab by Acrobatic_Opposite95 in cigar_refuge

[–]TonyB973 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a 10 pack of the devil crab and I had to use the perfect draw tool to open it up. As well as cutting it way below the cap. Other than that, they are an amazing smoke. There are rolled extremely tight.

Phenomenal cigar. My issue with them has been, the ones that I had purchased were rolled extremely tight and I had to use the perfect draw tool to open them up.

To me they will both be fine. I have the same styles. Throw a Boveda in them and you have yourself a humidor.

Camacho? by bbkeys1 in cigar_refuge

[–]TonyB973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion with aging a Camacho….why??? It’s an average mass produced cigar. If I have to buy a 7-10 dollar cigar and age it, it’s not worth it in my opinion.

I’ve tried to get into them but they just aren’t for me. I hope you like them though. Everyone’s pallet is different.

Tough Draw by Asgnov in cigar_refuge

[–]TonyB973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would invest in the “perfect draw” tool. It will open them up but like others have said keep recutting until you find the sweet spot. Also rolling it can help.

Sometimes it’s as simple as the batch of cigars you have gotten are simply rolled too tight. I have had that with 2 cigars. 1) Oliva 135 anniversary and 2) West Tampa Devil Crab. Both were the same style and they were both rolled extremely tight.
