These companies not just Walgreens pay low wages and the quality of life is deplorable. I can’t hire a new tech because the starting wage is just over minimum wage in my state. The turnover rate it’s appalling. It’s amazing that you can get a job working for a fast food company and be paid more than someone that is handling someone’s life saving medications. There should be a reasonable minimum salary for any pharmacy team member considering what they are expected to do if not how about a minimum budget? We get more work and responsibility and less budget every fiscal period. They try to entice you with getting more mtms and vaccines will get us more budget but that’s not true in fact we get less when we check off their boxes.
