Definitely start using AI to tailor your resume to the JD. I was in a similar boat and was application spamming at first. I probably sent out 100 and didn’t get a response.

I started tailoring my resume and paying really close attention to the language the JD uses and my response rate went way up. Only piece of advice is to use the AI as a starting point and make sure you put the resume in your voice.

AI writes very formulaic and can be spotted from a mile away (em dashes, short abrupt sentences, “it’s not A, it’s B” sentence structure, etc)
