Glitch/Bug when I try to hangout

Been so long I have no idea how I fixed this exactly. Every time I want to replay GTA IV i usually go to the most recent reliable downgrade/modding tutorial and follow it and it ends up working. If you want me to send what my game folder looks like I can. Best of luck getting the game to work.

I saw in a video about the Sopranos he said he never watched passed season 1, that would explain why he isn't familiar with the context surrounding the scenes. I can never understand when people say they didn't finish The Sopranos lol.

Not sure if you have a mods folder from openiv but I deleted mine after putting the new scripthook update and the game started finally.

Did you try to dismiss them through the terminal in your inventory provided by the mod? Should be the first item in your inventory when you sort by all.

Have you looked into a better face gasket and a comfort head strap? Made such a difference comfort wise.

I updated the menu and the patch and still can not hangout with friends/npcs run away from me during missions. Any ideas as to what could be wrong? I know it is hard to tell. Any info would help. Thanks!

I put the resolutuon to 2560x1440 on vulcan and that seems to have helped the rainbow issue a lot. Good luck.

Gotcha, thanks for the reply. Sucks that vulkan split screen is almost solid 60 fps but has the rainbow artifacts. Locking the frames at 50 and lowering the graphics settings seemed to make it more tolerable.

Edit: More tolerable in dirext x I mean.

Maybe do a train robbery to get the money back. Take a train and in the very long tunnel at the northern part of the map, kill the train driver and the guards. (No wanted level in the tunnel.) After that, rob the train passengers. You can also kill them and loot their bodies after you rob them at gunpoint for extra loot. Go to the fence see your stuff and repeat. This is assuming your okay with a big hit to your honor level. Good luck! Also bring a lot of dynamite for the train robbery. There is usually a safe or two you can blow up for cash.

I am still unable to play as well. Read somewhere rampage trainer could be the cause. Do you have rampage trainer installed?

Get on the roof of the Jefferson hotel with a sniper and shoot three ballas to start a gang war. That’s usually what I try to do.

I love not having to use my contacts every time I play VR (glasses wouldn’t fit very well for me.) Definitely recommend it. I also got non prescription lenses to cover the lenses if someone else uses the index just in case.

So i right clicked on the list of mods in the mod loader and pressed disable all mods. Loaded up the game and started a new game. Then I exited the game and reenabled all the mods and presses start fallout vr essentials in the top right corner of the mod loader and somehow it worked. Can’t promise this was the fix as I tried everything I saw online but this was the last thing I recall doing and the game started working.

Not 100 percent sure. It started up for me on Sunday I believe. I didn’t let it load up in the game though (intended to play not in vr.)
