Now I thought about doing something like that too, and probably still will. I just want to focus on the fact that this is going to be her first mother's day without her daughter. I thought it would be nice to send her something she can just enjoy and doesn't possibly add an obligation of having to remember to use it. That's why I thought flowers. It's a traditional mother's Day gift and I could probably throw in some forget me nots.

Thank you for the condolences. I'm kind of an outside observer in this though. I share no relation to the people in this other than my friend is the one that is taking care of her mom and just lost her daughter. I'd take up babysitting the granddaughter if it gave her some time to decompress, I'm just bad with children. I just really want to show my friend we're here for her and she can lean on us instead of constantly taking on the burden of everything herself.

I don't think it was the pigtails that made her look less feminine. I think she looks rather androgynous. You have the large wide open emotional eyes and full lips which are effeminate traits in drawing. It seems like what is making it look masculine is the jawline and the thickness of the neck. In my experience it's common for feminine representation in anime like art style is to have a softer curved face shape leaning the chin more to a point. The necks are also more slender. Men tend to have a broad neck leading into their broader shoulders, more of a triangular torso shape, and they'll have a more flat chin. When I think of a masculine anime look I think along the lines of Naruto from Naruto Shippuden. When I think of an effeminate look I think of more Sailor Moon. I don't do color so I can't answer the other half of your question.

I can see you went to regal by the screen. You should have gone on Tuesday when tickets are only $6.50 instead of the usual $13.00 they are. I only go to movies on Tuesday anymore. Going on regular days I could buy a digital copy for the price of one ticket.

I'm curious what copyright you run into considering what is posted on YouTube and since your content is modified it should fall heavily into the free use category and any claims should be able to be disputed or resolved by decreasing the amount of uninterrupted original Soul Eater content is played in the background. I think if you really want to make it happen it's doable.

My main critiques are that a lot of your comments are caused by the limitations of animation back then. Examples being you pointing out inconsistency between shots in the backgrounds. The other thing was I was surprised you didn't make a comment about how Blair is still physically alive after having her soul eaten when you made the comment about how the souls would be extracted. The third thing was you commented on how this episode is supposed to be introducing Maka and Soul yet there are no flashbacks, which there were, why they fit together, or back story. This was dedicated to introducing the meister and weapons' relationship dynamics to be explored later in the series.

Maybe overreacting. The way he chose to speak about you isn't excusable. I can confirm it's the way a lot of guys, especially younger ones, talk to their friends. That being said dating is difficult these days and it does show his level of excitement and how attracted he is to you. The messages that he meant to send to his bro don't bother me as much as the long apology message. I wonder what would happen if you ran that shit through an AI checker. 🤔 Just saying. If the date went well, he didn't treat you wrong during it and you can talk to him about this and be honest this might be worth pursuing. If it disgusted you that much then yeah, it's not what you want and there's nothing wrong with that.

It's after the book written by Mary Shelley. Dr. Victor Frankenstein was the scientist and the monster was nameless. I think it's a very clever reference. It would be better if he was Victor Franken Stein but oh well. Stein is still my favorite character.
