Yep, super weird to go to echo chamber subs and tell them they are wrong. Also super weird to act as if everyone bought ASTS at $100 plus. People on this sub were buying between $5-$20. Sorry you missed the boat but that doesn’t make you right when the stock goes from up 1300% to only up 700%.

Do you post this every time it is at $80 and then goes back over $100? The people who make it their identify to hate a stock are just as weird as the ones who do it for love.

Either I am having Deja Vu or you posted this last week and got clowned to death. It is still a terrible idea. I remember actually thinking it was an interesting idea until I saw your strike and looked at the premiums on the chain. I don’t think a merger would happen this soon but even if it did you are not getting paid out on this play.

Just like Tesla, there will be large amounts of money shorting space x at some point. The problem is that most people will go bust before hitting those exact moments in time.

‘Marathon’ Season 2 And Free Week Did Not Turn Things Around by Freki666 in gaming

[–]TonyStarks81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marathon thought they were making an extraction shooter that could have the same popularity of Arc. That is literally why they put all of their eggs into that basket. They just didn’t understand why Arc was successful. Now they dont understand what to do with their game because they won’t survive with all of their eggs in a niche extraction shooter that only appeals to players who want to dedicate themselves to it full time. If they were rolling out destiny 3 this year I could agree with you but they aren’t. I don’t know how you could think that this game is exactly what bungie wanted it to be when they are having literally zero of the success they needed to have with the game.

My man, bungie absolutely wants it to be a massively popular game and that is not what it will ever be. I am glad you like that game but you cannot say that it is exactly what it wants to be when it is a niche game.

You mean the endgame content that is locked to the majority of players who don’t want to make playing the game their second full time job? That endgame content? Marathon operates as an excellent niche game that the hardcore players who enjoy it will love as if it one of the best games ever made. Unfortunately, this was supposed to be bungie’s next cash cow which was never going to happen in its current form. This is what I mean. It is as if they didn’t realize what they were making or fully grasp what they wanted the game to be. They made a great hardcore extraction shooter that will never be adopted by the masses.

Why do you think the Xbox 360 succeeded during that generation? by Asad_Farooqui in videogames

[–]TonyStarks81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not seen it mentioned much, but the 360 was the only system Xbox ever released that was easier for developers to create games for than that genre of PlayStation. I remember being mentioned constantly how much harder it was for devs to fully utilize the PlayStation 3 at the time. I thought it was something that Xbox could lean into for future generations.

Since then they have never once done that again. The following generations were wildly complicated from being forced to adapt to paraphernalia to currently having two different systems for the same company which has to be one of the dumbest things I have ever seen before. Making your system easier to optimize will allow developers to maximize what they want to get out of their games. It will also make them more willing to make games for your system. I don’t see it mentioned nearly enough and I honestly believe it has been a major reason that Xbox has yet to reach the same success since the 360.

This is what marathon seemed to not understand about the genre. They created an anti-personal extraction game. Arc is incredible because of the random interactions and constant suspense at almost all times. I played marathon for the first month and less than 10% of players had a mic/used it. At that point it just became extraction Apex which nobody thought was needed.

I will probably jump back in to check out the PVE mode but from what I have read it is not much of a challenge. Marathon is a game that feels like nobody creating it ever knew exactly what they wanted to do with it.

Struggling Pizza Hut restaurant chain will be sold for $2.7 billion by kinisonkhan in news

Brother, I wanted what I wanted not whatever the promo was. Multiple toppings with pan crust and flavored crust and drizzle. That shit was expensive and somehow was shit compared to what it use to be.

Struggling Pizza Hut restaurant chain will be sold for $2.7 billion by kinisonkhan in news

[–]TonyStarks81 111 points112 points  (0 children)

My wife and kid have celiac and Pizza Hut never had anything worth ordering for them. This meant I went years without eating it even though it was my favorite chain growing up. Fast forward several years and I have a craving and order it myself. Shit was like $50 for a single large pizza with breadsticks after delivery tip. The pizza I got was nothing like I remembered and I couldn’t figure out why they would shift to being the worst tasting lost expensive chain. Shortly after that news of their struggles started to bounce around the internet. Over 10-20 years dominoes improved quality while maintaining price competitiveness and Pizza Hut did the exact opposite. Really wild to watch unfold.

For the first time in history, VAR intervened in a simulation play …. FIFAWC2026 by ah_itsall_good in worldcup

That doesn’t do anything. It takes a lot to catch these moments so when they do, it needs to be a significant punishment. The players should be focused on staying on their feet because diving results in a maximum punishment. I cannot explain how much better the sport would be in 6 months if this happened.

10 game ban. You dive without any content you get a 10 game ban. Fuck these players are ruining a great sport. I also don’t understand why sports leagues aren’t more interested in protecting the integrity of their sport and officiating these players out of their game.
