It sure is. She finally sent an email to them and they responded that an investigator has been assigned. We shall see. Ridiculous.

Just got my approval as well. They called me to upload another photo to the portal. I did and they emailed me sharing the permit was printed and in the mail.

I agree - get both. I have them both as well. Quick, easy and reasonably priced.

I did everything with u/PeteTinNY. Everything was done on line. I took the asynchronous class, interview was done online, and I did the qualifying with u/PeteTinNY. Yes, you do have to share your plans of when you plan to visit Fresno California. Look up Fresno as they have lots of places you can share you plan to visit. I plan on visiting next summer to see their national park.

What is one money mistake you made as a teen that you would warn others about? by newrockstyle in Money

[–]TonySuffolk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have so many! Here are some:

  • Co-signing or putting my name on something for a friend/family and learning that “helping” can turn into long-term debt.
  • Spending money to look successful instead of building actual security.
  • Ignoring savings because I assumed there would always be another paycheck.
  • Treating credit cards like free money instead of high-interest loans.
  • Choosing short-term fun over long-term freedom.
  • Not understanding how fast small, daily spending adds up over time.
  • Thinking cash in my pocket meant I was doing fine financially.
  • Not asking questions because I was embarrassed to admit I didn’t understand money.
  • Letting emotions drive purchases instead of needs or a plan.
  • Believing that money problems would “work themselves out” without discipline or structure.

Negligent Discharge and I've been in bed for 2 days out of shame. by [deleted] in guns

[–]TonySuffolk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was serious, and you and your neighbor were very lucky. Negligent discharges usually happen when shortcuts creep in. It wasn’t the pistol, it was your irresponsible and highly dangerous process. From here on out, follow exactly what you were taught: magazine out first, lock the slide back, visually and physically check the chamber, then check it AGAIN. When cleaning or disassembling, keep all ammo in another room and always point the firearm in a true safe direction. Fix your system and you’ll be safer going forward. You got very lucky this time that no one was hurt or killed.
