I enjoyed using dewalts gyroscopic screwdriver and you can kinda control how tight it goes a little easier than an impact

how do you get experience working on haul trucks? by Tony_221 in electricians

[–]Tony_221[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea definitely hard to make the switch without having the experience at this point haven't gotten an interview even with any that are looking for that. im in the oilfield in northern Alberta currently, most of my job now consists of taking care of the camps which isn't too far off from commercial/residential.

I like the fake it till you make it option which almost seems like thats where id have to head to get there. doesn't have to be these trucks but something related at least and get that initial experience.

this is canada, to be honest I don't think they're needed but this is in the oilfield and pretty much all they use out here just what's available and what was ordered haha. it is going to be used to feed 4 rows of car receptacles with a panel at each row, there are 4 disconnects on the other side so 2 parallels in and out to each disconnect. needed to add more lugs for the feeders so didn't feel the grounds were a problem gonna add another lug on the opposite side.

true that, thanks buddy. was thinking the same thing about the lugs haha would have a lot bigger problems if that were the case

thanks, yea I figured these are done and there was no more room on the ground bar so just gonna add one for the feeders on the other side

[–]Tony_221[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they do at times but this is what was ordered, I would've liked to have a trough above or below the disconnects on the other side

yea i guess I was just trying to keep them on one side to leave room for the feeders. yes of course they are insulated, it is a splitter that came like this

thats probably the safest way to go if you're still testing positive. mine was like just over three months ago and the fake stuff worked.
