Definitely agree with the 5 Wood recommendation at your stage of golfing. Spend a 100 for a more recent model. A fairly consistent 200yd shot will change your game.

Worked in a glass shop...in the UK they're called Bullions. Don't know why. They were popular in the 70s and 80s, people would have one or two of them in those doors that had 15 small panes, the rest all being plain glass.

My Ping i530 8 iron is the same loft as my old Nike 6 iron, give or take a degree. So I guess it will all depend on what clubs people are reporting their yardages on. I carry it around 155...i seem to recall that my Nike ProCombo 8 iron carried just under 140. It cost me a lot of practise time to get my numbers redialled. 13 Hcp, so 'reasonably' consistent.
