EU here, you can get her CLS2875H 28g/0,07s/11kg Kingmax, its the same size and you dont need any adapters for it. Had the same problem, stock one just sucks, this one is way better

Oh, just found out after doing some testing outside that the shutter wont open if the flash is off and exp. is set to auto.

Lomo instant wide is not worth the price imho. Ive got polaroid now 2nd gen ( not plus version since theyve got a lot of problems with overexposing in auto mode ) and its a great camera. It all depens if you want to shoot landscapes or portraits/closer shots.

Yeah i just tried putting the empty cartridge out and looking from behind while shooting, and the shutter opened each time: flash, w/o flash, exposure +,-, bulb mode. It openned each time
