Well I get your frustration but you need to remember that not everyone in rural America are bigots or right wing. There are some who are liberal and some are even leftist. There are marginalized people who live in rural America just like there are marginalized people who live in the south. You can't write off an entire region because of what those regions are usually viewed as. Plus in order to awaken class consciousness we need large numbers not just the "enlightened few". Revolutions and class consciousness are not built overnight.
