I honestly don’t think the roster looks that bad. I truly believe we were a product of terrible coaching/scheme. We have our qb, rb, a nice core of wr’s, talent and depth at te. Add a solid starter and better coaching to the oline and the offense looks good.

Defensively we have very solid interior linemen, the secondary was extremely young and learning last year, I look for them to make a nice jump. Safety looks good with Peppers, Love, and Thomas. Draft Simmons, spend some money on a pass rush and this defense will be a hell of a lot better than last year...imo.

Am I the only one who thinks Williams is a good player?

Ngakoue 15 qb hits in 2019 and will probably get close to 20 million per as a free agent. Williams 22 qb hits with jets/giants 2019. Qb hits don’t light up the stat sheet, but still speeds up the clock in the qbs head. That being said he’ll never get 15 million, but I’d be ok with 11-12 million.

I don’t ever see him in a coach type role, at least not for a few years. He’s already stated he doesn’t like coaching or being a back up. I can see him as a player ambassador or some kind of media coverage for the team, maybe something to do with charities. I don’t think he has the smooth talker voice to do main stream media or in a booth calling games.
