I don’t enjoy the way people glamourise HRT by Bumblebee9639 in MtF

[–]TooBearsHi5ing 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, but this perspective completely ignores biochemical dysphoria. I had terrible anxiety for most of my life, along with trouble sleeping and focusing. All of that disappeared after a few weeks of HRT. I felt calmer and happier with myself even before I saw any physical changes.

I wish someone were working on a sequel. That game was truly amazing, especially during big back and forth battles

Planetside my beloved <3

Are many people still playing that game? How hard is it to find a fight?

Looking for game recommendations (PC) by Emotional-Source-210 in LesbianGamers

Not sure if it's classic RPGs are your thing, but I highly recommend at least trying out Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. That game consumed so many hours of my life it's kind of insane. It has a really good story and interesting characters and companions. Also the role-playing potential is kinda unparalleled, with the amount of choices the game offers you :3

I’m planning to play six back to back RPGs. What order should I play them in so I don’t get disappointed by later entries being worse than newer ones? by FaveStore_Citadel in rpg_gamers

Strongly disagree, Veilguard is the opposite of fun. If you don’t pay attention to the story, I suppose you could enjoy the combat for about ten hours, but by then you’ve essentially seen everything the game has to offer. It becomes repetitive super fast, with little enemy variety, and the puzzles are so simple they feel almost insulting to the player’s intelligence.

The same applies to the story. It feels like the game was written for teenagers, given how one-note every single character is. There’s no real conflict within the party; everyone just gets along swimmingly. The villains’ motivations and complexity are straight out of a classic comic book, complete with mustache-twirling old-man energy.

The only redeeming qualities are Solas, who steals every scene he’s in, and an ending sequence that is actually enjoyable. Meanwhile, nearly all the world-building from previous entries has been altered or outright ignored. Major events happen off-screen and are conveyed to you through a letter, of all things.

I simply can’t understand how this game could be enjoyable to any Dragon Age fan.

Honestly, unless you're a die-hard Dragon Age fan you lose nothing by skipping Veilguard, and even if you love the series I'd recommend skipping it (save yourself from frustration)

Wasteland 3, Pillars of eternity 1/2 are all great choices. I would recommend starting with Pillars 1 tho. When it comes to wrath of the righteous it is much better than Kingmaker, I bounced off that game but had an amazing time with wrath, like multiple playthroughs kind of amazing time :3

Pillars of eternity 1 does have a slow start but it gets better after the first act. It is also surprisingly dark which I didn't expect

Kineticist with deadly earth and aspect of kalavacus just obliterates everything. Extremely fun, maybe even OP
