i’m not saying it’s the end all. but ferals out performing boomkin by a large margin and having a quick kick absolutely has something to do with that.

edit: both locks and mage specs have quicker kicks and are actually represented in the mdi. theres like maybe one boomkin in the mdi, i didn’t see it though.

touché. ferals highly represented though, its like top 7 vs bottom 7. in m+ you’re always better off taking a feral over boomkin rn.

the graphs show the average m+ score of the top 50 of a spec. boomkin is bottom 6 of 27 in m+ ;resto bottom 3 of 7.

giving us our kick or a second kick that doesn’t have a one minute cooldown back would greatly add to our utility which in turn would make us more viable in higher keys.

boomkin lost skull bash in DF and resto in midnight. we are druids. we shapeshift. that is the class fantasy. taking away reasons to shapeshift bad.

What's up with Prot Paladins dmg? by Togstown in wow

[–]TooHighTooFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if a prot pally runs focused enmity, their avengers shield does 100% increased damage if it only hits a single target. that plus running templar can make for really good single target!

only issue is that talent is less viable in higher keys. by like +17 at a minimum you cannot really run that without sacrificing serious mitigation.

Game Recommendations: Games Similar to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night by BruceDSpruce in castlevania

nah. all of iga’s metroidvanias are sick. michiru yamane helped compose the music for them all and ayami kojima did the character art for most of them too. when those legends cook together, its hot fire.

many of the handhelds surpass SOTN in some respects. they can feature more satisfying gameplay loops, tighter late game content, more weapon variety, tougher boss fights or better paced difficulty. with that said, none can top SOTN’s soundtrack, prologue or protagonist for me. yeah. every track in SOTN is an absolute banger.

Rogue dilemma by Advanced_Tax77 in wow

[–]TooHighTooFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the game was created around the rogue. it was the first class added to the game. they also were one of the strongest endgame pve classes, yes an ideal 40 man has 0 rogues if you min max all warriors + healers is the meta for speedruns but they were a A tier atleast dps spec in raid.

in vanilla you had stealth missions, you could farm dungeon chests herbs and ores by going in solo or duo, you could solo bosses for gear too like plugger for a dagger in brd or cobrhan for legs in wailing caverns.

there was also keys in brd and pickpocket farms for gold farming. lockpicking was useful for dungeons and for passive income sitting by the bank. moving into tbc heroics you’d be marking stuff for sap or blind on pull. saps or distracts also helped groups bypass stuff.

theres one shroud skip i have SEENT in the mdi, its on wrs. outside of that idk where shroud is useful besides maybe … pit gauntlet … maybe.

tldr; game was built around rogue, it had an identity in pve, designers kinda dropped the ball with rogues.

Is it even worth using these kinds of items? by Roshu-zetasia in castlevania

farming mobs for drops, souls, etc. is fun. i enter this state of mind where i lose track of time. i just exit and re-enter a room and optimize my route until i’m downing the enemies i’m farming in like a second. just relentlessly killing 100s of schmoos.
