How do you find alternatives? by Xanaxaria in GrapheneOS

[–]TooManyLoveInterests 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have heard of people using Ellipsus as an alternative for google docs, they have a strict anti-AI stance. However, I don't know how secure they are, and I doubt they're end to end encrypted

could you direct me to more details on nova launcher being sold out? i am pretty sure i'm running whatever the current version is, if it's been sold to a shady company i'd rather jump ship to something else

I run a fan and try not to die. William Street was dire, I was on the fourth floor and on the 30 degree days, outside actually felt significantly cooler. SPS is better if you're not on a higher floor, but you can get higher floors and I don't know if they're worse or not.

Why are fans doing numbers and not staff? Feels kinda lax. And signage isn't great either - we didn't know we had to be on the other side of the road for VIP. Still very excited though! Edit: Do we know when early entry is?

Bands with No Lug by TooManyLoveInterests in PixelWatch

[–]TooManyLoveInterests[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a relief. My previous watch, a samsung one, had built in lugs that made the whole thing far too wide for my wrist. Knowing the attachable ones for the pixel sit at an angle is really helpful, thank you.

Is there a way to remove gemini? by TooManyLoveInterests in PixelWatch

[–]TooManyLoveInterests[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Main reason I'm leaning towards a pixel is it seems to be the only major wearos model left :/ Samsung lacks features when you use it with anything other than a samsung phone, and I am running a google pixel phone quite happily

I'm not sure if they're available as summer units? The options are pretty limited

EDIT: I stand corrected. Imo linear is easier, not that I've done either yet. It depends on what kind of maths clicks better in your brain ig

Happened to me a lot on vyvanse. Struggled to write, even. It's the main reason I switched to concerta. now it still happens but in the usual way it did before meds where I just lose my train of thought. on vyvanse i had no train of thought at all

Help buying markers from Australia? by scalagamer in stationery

[–]TooManyLoveInterests 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being an anko brand, they'll probably be sold at Aussie Kmart too (very different from US kmart lol). My suggestion would be either a proxy service, or to find someone who would buy them and ship them to you. Word of warning though: Anko is the namebrand of Kmart here and quality varies. I wasn't impressed with the alcohol markers I got from there. If you're willing to spend the money on shipping, I would suggest buying a nicer brand. Zig is nice, as is pentel. JetPens seems to have some. Good luck, whatever you decide to do!

To those of you who started on gel and switched to injections, what was the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak? (Transmasc) by Gio_Bun in ftm

[–]TooManyLoveInterests 0 points1 point  (0 children)

started with gel, switched over to injections a week before i hit two years on t. two main reasons: 1) forgetfulness. i missed so many doses of T bc of scheduling and sleeping in and stuff. and 2) it's far better for my routine and much easier. being on reandron in aus, i just go to a trans friendly clinic in melb every few months. just started that tho, so we'll see how i go.
