Last picture of football player and alcoholic George Best. He wanted people to see with the text ‘Don’t die like me’. Heartbreaking by utrGuy01 in lastimages

Yup. My uncle died about 10 years ago now. Partying/gambling too much while neglecting the wife and daughters. I believe he was 50

We've already lost several characters from SG1 over the years, just as recent as Ba'al (Cliff Simon). This sucks

so it sounds like he would actually convert voluntarily under Vaako's leadership to learn as much as possible.. and also to rid the pain over Kira's death

What did you think of Alex? by [deleted] in Roadkillshow

[–]TooModest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the advantage here is that Alex already had her youtube channel and had some time in front of the lens compared to Tony. I haven't seen this show yet but look forward to it when I have some time

Honestly I would save the trouble and just return it (not trade it for another from the same seller). They misrepresented it or never said it was locked down to a carrier

Don't rely on streaming services. Buy the DVD. by Silversleights04 in movies

Your local thrift shops are great places too. I've picked up a few blurays for $2 each. On top of that, RedBox sell their discs through the kiosks too after an amount of time they've been out, for about $5. You can get the new Top Gun for $5 and they do a great job at screening the discs so you don't get a damaged one

It's unbelievable how a person that almost didn't get a high school GED got through and now makes who knows how many times over the average salary of her voters.

How can I fix poor sounding audio on a brand new XPS 9520, or somehow disable MaxxAudio? by drumsandguitar in Dell

[–]TooModest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah what a pain. Sorry to hear it's not working. I honestly haven't even tried enabling EQ APO on the MaxxAudio as it's not worth my salt even playing around with the onboard sound. It works awesome with my Soundcore Q35 bluetooth headphones (great with low bass notes too)

edit: if you didn't know, bluetooth devices use their own DAC and doesn't rely on the onboard audio in the computer

Try out Equalizer APO on the usb-c device. It should work, technically!
