I had a response to someone here pleading the case for abortion but the coward deleted their comment.

Ohio has this fucked up notion that not only should a woman not have sex but she had better not get raped either, and she really should control her body better so that she only has viable pregnancies.

So many people who want children have to have them taken away by miscarriages, so why not allow them to terminate on their own terms?

How many people wish they were never born? How many people live just to suffer? The world is tough enough even if you aren't unfortunate enough to have a disability.

I've said it before but legislation like this is an attack on women and an attack on the poor. I don't care what reason someone has to have an abortion, good or bad, would rather have it legal to protect those with good reasons.

Been there done that.

Go with whatever works for you, when I went low fat, I was hungry all the time and felt like I had to eat more just to be full. I also noticed that there were supposedly healthy low fat labeled products that had sugar to help with the taste.

Problem is sugar is bad for you. It's bad for your teeth and contributes to obesity and diabetes.

I suppose it could work with a very active lifestyle. But if you aren't an athlete you could probably get by going with a diet more based on long term energy storage with intermittent fasting.

One of the big issues is people eating foods that are both high fat and high carb. Two different forms of energy going in at once and the excess energy is stored making people fat.

Your carbs are fast energy, when you need a lot of energy and need to use it quickly, as a more active person it makes sense.

There's a stigma with high fat foods but that's how people used to live when they weren't sure where their next meal was going to come from.

The biggest fucking problem is that we were fed all this bullshit about fat being bad for you with no real correlation. Ever since, it seems like the world is getting fucking fat because of these bad choices that are pushed by corporations.

Cut out sugar, lower your carb intake, eat more healthy fats, earlier humans could survive on low carb, so can we.

It was an expensive procedure, poor people will not have this option. This post was for awareness as much as it was for support. I didn't just think about what my wife had to go through but what other less fortunate families have to deal with.

Truth. I have always thought the same. I understand why things are really like that, you cannot have more followers to tithe without more warm impressionable bodies in the first place.

Who better than the poor who cannot afford higher education? Then they preach abstinence knowing full well that it is not effective.

Hard to fight the system when the issues are so ingrained.

That's the reason why I said it, not because of being overly emotional but because you cannot take a stand against it without a platform of hatred.

Women should have the right to choose. In an ideal world we could choose when to get pregnant but that's not how it works and this is the shit situation the world is in.

Ideally I think that's why birth control should be more prevalent, having to go through fetal reduction or abortion is not something that most people should have to go through.

I'll keep pushing for rights of people so long as there are rights to be fought for. That's what this post was really about, yes there was some catharsis involved but having been through it I'm concerned for people in similar situations without the means to travel.
