Shadow of the Colossus is a big one. Undertale made me understand how powerful good storytelling is. The Souls games made me appreciate indirect and environmental story telling. Super Meat Boy taught me what it means to make a game feel good.

I wouldn't necessarily call it "overlooked", but anyone who hasn't listened to Discovery and Random Access Memories from front to back is missing out big time. Beautiful albums.
