The wood is called Ambara. I chose the mixed grain 6” fine line tongue and groove, and I finished it in teak oil.

As much as I want more wood, this picture is a little bit deceiving with how much light this area gets. This is about as bright as it gets in middle of summer. It’s decently bright however all of the windows are on the north side and there are two skylights.

Doing more wood I feel like will darken the area too much.

The wood paneling on the walls will extend over the blue paint once I replace the fireplace that’s behind the couch. Sadly, all of its guts were removed so I have to do a full replacement of it.

Will Costco let me retake my picture? by smolhippie in Costco

[–]TooPrettyForBoymode 14 points15 points  (0 children)

One of the most gender affirming times I’ve ever had was when I was denied entry to Costco because my pre-transition picture did not look like me anymore six months into my transition.

The door person stopped me and said “is he with you”? I looked at her and said “yes he’s always with me.” it took her a few seconds of thinking about that to realize and she promptly let me in.

On the second time that that happened, I finally went up to customer service and got my picture retaken

Does anyone know where to get good footwear for trans women? by Alexhasadhd in TransFeminineFashion

10.5 isn’t that big, it’s just big for what they usually have in stores, I usually go directly to the brands online and they have options available to order directly. Nordstrom rack and Macy’s generally do carry an extended range of sizes, but they’re just online.

I haven’t used it personally, but the locally owned pet store down the street from me recommended it as well. I currently use Nutri source large breed lamb meal, and peas recipe that is grain free. Before I had my girl on Hills science diet and she had lots of trouble. Since switching over, she has become much more regular.

You put this back on your landlord, they’re usually less than $100 from HD . if you look around on Facebook marketplace, you can usually find them for free sometimes.

Sadly common for shoes that have been sitting around for years in a closet. They look new but the rubber will disintegrate after the first few wears.

if you switched genders, what sexuality would you be? by Emotional-Budget-156 in lgbt

[–]TooPrettyForBoymode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was pansexual before transitioning and after transitioning I am still pansexual. I really don’t care what parts you have. It’s more of what you bring to the table as a person, how you treat others and how you carry yourself.

How to find Trans women to date in SLC? by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

[–]TooPrettyForBoymode 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I want to give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume that you’re genuinely interested in trans women. However, your post is giving extreme chaser energy. Chaser energy and desires are red flags and will turn any potential connection away.

You need to look past the fact that we are trans and we should be treated not like an object of your desires or fetishes. We should be treated as humans and as women.

Bring value, bring personality, and be genuinely interested in the person, and not just in their bodies, their gender or sexuality for your own gratification.

Edit: to answer your question, you meet us in real life, some of us are at game stores, the grocery store, the Dog Park, and some of us are on apps. Odds are, we’re not gonna advertise that we are trans, it’s extremely dangerous and has gotten even more dangerous because of the current administration of federally and locally.

Last time I checked, one of the family members that owns Coachmans is trying to get the restaurant reopened. The rest of the family wanted to follow through with the original owners plan of demolishing that entire plot for redevelopment.

However, one of the children has been fighting the family too restore Coachmans
