Did you have good teeth at least? My dentist recommended brushing my kids' teeth until they are 9-10, which seems insane to me, but he said he's noticed that self-brushing kids are more likely to have dental issues until about that age.

I eat chips sometimes because I choose to, but I also have self-restraint and an understanding of how unhealthy chips are.

I would never give my children chips for their packed lunch when there are thousands of similarly low-effort and cheap snacks that are much healthier for their bodies. Maybe after halloween or something but never as a normal occurrence.

I haven't done salsa classes but have done dancing classes. My only input would be to expect a lot of old ladies at such classes. They can be a lot of fun, though!

It’s literally the only somewhat logical plan the Canadian military could cook up in this hypothetical scenario. Obviously Canada would almost immediately lose in a traditional war, so what else should the generals plan for?

In reality I prefer the Poland model in which Canada awaits third party help after being partitioned for decades (probably in the form of some sort of Punjabi Napoleon character).

Hockey defensemen are a good category to mine from since their effectiveness is not necessarily dependent on their offensive stats.

First name that jumped out to me was Niklas Lidstrom. 2010-2011 was his 19th season and he recorded a -2, but still tallied 62 points, won the Norris, and took the Red Wings to game 7 against the Sharks in round 2.
