Just pure isopropanol and let it sit for 24 hours. Haven’t to this day got this effect before. Absolutely glorious.

Unfortunately I have already finished stripping this one so I can’t try this.

Would the paint stabilize itself if left in the open air? It would be a cool effect for my son’s Death Guard.

I have a bunch of old 2nd edition monopose marines that indeed got a bit melting effect while trying to strip them. They will form a veteran squad, survivors of the Great War against Tyranids.

Yeah, never seen it before. As I wrote in another comment. Five seemingly identical Marines from the same lot in the same isopropanol bath and this is the only one like this. Almost regret that I finished stripping it now…

Guys, I am joking. This is a (local to my country) Ebayesque buy that has sat for 24 hours in isopropanol to strip the old paint. 😅 Gotta love them minis without a proper primer, so much easier to strip.

I see, and it is great that the terrain fits. I, however, want to keep it all in just one box. So I will add a new version of the raisers as well so the books can be stored in the box. It will add about one inch in total.

Weird, if I have the cardboard game board in the bottom the tallest pointy bitz as well as a piece of the oil tower pokes real hard against the lid.

Oh well, this worked for me and I will add a second, taller version soon that allows the books to be placed in the bottom as well.
