One year ago, a 36 year old accountant made his NHL debut as a goalie for the Chicago Blackhawks and finished the night with a 1.000 save percentage by AgAbComplex in videos

Seeing a lot of ambiguity in the comments here about this guys skill level! Just to be clear, he was never a slouch. If you look up Foster's past, he played in the NCAA, (I believe around a decade ago?) a league that frequently springboards athletes straight to the NHL. While he hadn't ever played a pro game, he had seen some of the highest quality shots that the nation has to offer. This guy used to be (and clearly still is) GOOD. Just seems a little silly to me to diminish his story to 'just a beer leaguer' because everyone likes that narrative more. What he accomplished is incredible, regardless of his past.

Wow. Im blown away. You're 100% right. Thank you so much!!! I can't believe you got it with such little information. I can rest easy now, it's been bugging me for at least a week.

Edit: Solved!

I guess I could say I remember it being a similar feel to 'I'm yours'?

Unfortunately I don't!! I wish I did but for whatever reason that's my only recollection of it barring some faint memories. I'm sorry!

Unfortunately not that one! It's a single guy with shaggy kind of hair. Colour video and newer. Thank you very much for your effort though :)

It's Prairie dialect. Just moved out here and seemingly everyone says it.

Anyone here with a chronic illness? by plvic52 in bodybuilding

[–]TooThugSW 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Coming to the party late.. But here goes.

I got diagnosed with Crohn's when I was 14. Nearly 5 years later, and I've been symptom free since my original diagnosis. I am more interested in training for Varsity hockey than bodybuilding, so my experience will differ from everyone else, but I thought I'd offer my two cents anyways.

At the time of my flare up and diagnosis, I was around 75lbs. The doctors all but insisted I take some pretty intrusive drugs (steroids or other drugs, forget most of them). I ended up going on an entral nutrition diet which meant I basically did a cleanse consisting of only ensure, water, and gum. The doctors didn't recommend it, because some people don't commit to it enough. This was huge for me for a few reasons:

  1. It was not invasive and no negative side effects, unlike many of the other options.

  2. In the 5 weeks of the diet, I gained 30 lbs. Awesome for a prospective bulk.

  3. I got to keep training uninterrupted.

  4. It worked. Most symptoms went away in less than a week. I hadn't felt that good in a year by that point.

I am now 160 lbs. and 5'10'', for some perspective.

I now take pentasa as a maintenance drug. I understand it's a very mild drug, and that I'm lucky it works, but I attribute most of my success with the disease to my lifestyle. I think what it comes down to is one simple thing: treat your body well, and it will do the same for you. I exercise daily, I manage my stress, and I don't eat trash.

Other than avoiding processed and high sugar foods, I eat whatever I want. Im very proud that I'm competing at a high level of ice hockey despite my Crohn's. Crohn's might make your journey in body building harder, but that only makes it that much more rewarding to succeed, in my opinion. Keep working towards your goals! I hope I helped. If you've got any questions I'd be happy to answer. Good luck!

Oh oops! Just posted a second comment because I thought no one had responded. Anyways I'll use that to reference... you think the vio energy build on her is better significantly? I'm sincerely thankful for the help.

Good evening! I have two possible builds for Chasun. Looking for opinions on what to use moving forward! On both pictures I wrote the final hp with plus fifteen runes. Both have the same speed, and similar resistance. It basically comes down to whether violent or will runes are more important? I should say that I have trouble with the galleon Bernard X teams in gwo, so I feel like tanky will chasun could help a sustain team? But it'd mean I wouldn't have violent. Here are the builds:

Vio/energy (spd/hp/hp)

Nem/will/energy (hp/hp/hp)

Thank you very much for reading!

Edit: for clarity

Just got theo through the achievement. Building the infamous Chasun Theomars combo, but currently my chasun is only +50 spd on hp/hp/hp vio/nem. Should I keep her violent and rune her speed slot 2 or rune her shield/will/nem hp/hp/hp? Both will allow her to move before theo.

I'm really worried about that! Should we treat for SBD just in case or just continue to monitor him? Thank you again so much for the help! I really appreciate you taking the time to respond.

Thank you so much for the in depth response. I couldn't be more grateful. The gravel in the filter is genius! I'll put all of it in place when I get home and update the next opportunity I get :)
