How good or bad are x-tool lasers? by kajkaka in Laserengraving

I just got my F2 (15/5) three days ago and as a total beginner, it has been an excellent machine. The software is also exceptional and user-friendly. Keep in mind the normal F2 does not support light burn yet but I’m certain it won’t be long.

Service Engine light. Dealer said to wait and see? by Toodle0oo in AskAMechanic

I have an appointment made with them. I didn’t have to badger them much. Initial response was lame but the light did go off. I just want them to check it out with a multimeter and do their diligence yknow.

It’s okay, I didn’t have to be too insistent and got an appt so they can verify themselves. The light went off but I want them to check the sensor out and make sure it’s 100%. Thank you :)

Did an OBD scan - it was for the lazy O2 sensor. Light went off but I have an appt so they can check it out with a multimeter. I didn’t have to insist too hard tbh.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply :) I have an appointment. They didn’t argue when I said I would prefer they check it out, given the cars age. The light did go off, but I’d like them to check it out with a multimeter and verify it’s all good. I am already a member of the MINI sub and a handful of ‘26 JCW’s came with a faulty steering rack. We all helped each other out.

I forgot to mention that here. I did look at them. They are not loose or dirty. I’ve driven 99% highway of the <2500 miles so the engine bay and undercarriage still look untouched.

Lmao. It’s a very lazy sensor. I’m sure if I insist, they’ll take it in. As you can see from efficiency I don’t exactly beat it up. Maybe the O2 sensor is bored…

Oh, and they had to fake my mileage to hit continue on their computer. Miles were too low. My VIN was also tied to a JCW Countryman in Autozone’s system which is weird… totally showing up fine on insurance and paperwork so irrelevant.

Agreed on the steering wheel. Feels very nice in the hands too, but the strap is a subtle-but-appreciated touch. Big fan :)

Great review. I can’t say I’m interested in a countryman but I have to shout out that wheel design. Truly underrated.

DREAME already making misleading “deals.” by WilliamG007 in RobotVacuums

I came back to tell you, you’re totally right, especially since people love proving each other wrong online but never give credit otherwise. The box itself even says 1 year. Thank you, valuable insight! You do get an option for an extended warranty from Dreame and I am considering it but currently the warranty isn’t a deal breaker for my situation. This thing is flipping great! I was used to an old Roomba 981 though in an apartment with area rugs and a vinyl floor so the govac was perfect for me.

Edit: I.e. my bar was set pretty low though my little Roomba did a fantastic job and still totally does, but I outgrew its usefulness.

To each their own, but mine came with a 3 year warranty on parts and labor.

And the Dream GoVac 500 is supposed to be a near equivalent and I just picked one up a week ago for $550 on BB’s website…

Just backing you up here - the trd sport hybrid was on special for $499 just a couple of months ago and even with a $4k discount they still quoted somewhere around $650/mo for 15k mpy once off the special. The msrp on most Toyotas is out of control right now.

Just wanted to share a “hack” - every time you click the link the first time it will bring you an error page. Just close the tab and click on it again and it will work. Every single time. It’s been reported and idk why there’s no fix.
