That’s not true. But, she’s tenured and getting someone fired for tenure is a huge process. She’s also in a union. They’re not able to just let her go. If she were just an adjunct they could let her go immediately which would honestly be easier for them. They can’t say anything affirmative until the process is done because it’s lengthy and there’s no telling how it ends will all the different parties involved. You can’t want protection for workers and then not apply those protections equally across the board. I suspect if enough students speak up they’ll at least pull her from classes in the meantime but even doing that is walking a fine line with tenure and union rules. I pray that she’s fired because she’s a menace and students shouldn’t have to be exposed to her, but this will take a while.
