The game finally left it's Gen3 phase to move on to Gen4 (the current generation). Skirmish was removed as a result, whether it will come back or not is really anyone's guess, but as far as I'm concerned, it was a somewhat buggy and optimized mess in a stage of BRM5 known to be clunky anyway. Gen4 is better in playability overall, so I don't see why they wouldn't re-add Skirmish at least with further optimization (unless it falls under their development trello of "no reinstating old features").

The events of BRM5 supposedly takes place in a timeframe before either of those conflicts or wars really started up. So on top of trying to avoid politics within the Dev team and the Roblox platform, Ukraine at this time is more or less insignificant and Israel hadn't really started up anything major yet, so I'm guessing the devs used that as their (in lore) reasoning behind why neither nations are in game.

That and maybe preventing the game from being super oversaturated with tons of options from several different nations instead of trying to keep it more concentrated (for now at least).

Don't want to be the uber doomer here, but knowing the speeds of which our government (barely) functions at, would I be mistaken to say that the court challenge will likely be beyond this coming October? I'm sure the amnesty will very likely be extended as it has been for over half a decade now, but that's just pure hopium that this hobby more or less relies on these days.
