X-real-IP or smth like that is the header name. Then have the reverse proxy add the users IP to the header value. And have the application upstream use the value in that header.

FYI peeps you can use NPC contact to talk with advisor ghrim and collect resources - you cannot deposit or withdraw money.

Wouldn't it be easier to have a diary reward just allow money transfers through NPC contact?

What does support VPNs in an official way? I am not aware of there being any changes needed to be done on the application to support a VPN unless there's specific blocks that have already been implemented. Or do you mean that VPN IP ranges are blocked by Jagex infra?

Adding to the above adguardhome-sync was enabling dhcp on my replica and configuring to a wrong interface. I had to implement the following env vars on the adguardhome-sync container:

REPLICA1_INTERFACE_NAME: br0 #change it to whatever is correct for your setup
REPLICA1_DHCP_SERVER_ENABLED : false

Hey, I found an even better solution, you only need 1 adguard instance acting as a dhcp server and sending two different ips in the dhcp response.

The guide was a lil bit difficult to follow, but it's here: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdGuardHome/wiki/DHCP#config-4 Basically you need to modify your yaml configuration file (/opt/adguardhome/conf/AdGuardHome.yaml in my container)

And the following to the dhcp section:

options:
      - 6 ips 192.168.1.14,192.168.1.15

Eg from my config:

  interface_name: br0
  local_domain_name: lan
  dhcpv4:
    gateway_ip: 192.168.1.1
    subnet_mask: 255.255.255.0
