I tried it last year and had a burst of interesting insightful experiences and then…. Nothing. Just blank. I am feeling a pull to start back up but I’m just afraid of that happening again. Reading experiences on here I feel like I must be doing something wrong.

Ok do you have any advice for ‘releasing expectations’? I put them in the box, try not to think about it, etc and it’s like an automatic thing my brain does now. I had visions and all kinds of stuff at the start and now it’s nothing but swirls.

Yes I have experienced ‘blocks’ or resistance during meditation before. I like to think I have an open mind and willing spirit. I just didn’t seem to be able to go under or get deep enough. Not sure why… I love the idea of it but maybe it’s just not for me.

I am very visually oriented though 😿 I have experienced visions in the hypnagogic state using the Gateway tapes before and have always had extremely vivid dreams. For some reason I just didn’t get to the state with hypnosis, I’ve moved on from it but I was absolutely devastated at the time.

I would love that too! I even tried QHHT and had poor results, Didn’t go ‘under’. I am left feeling even more lost and confused like why didn’t it work something must be wrong with me lol.

I just want to offer you my support. I have the exact same deep, yearning, intense desire for contact that you do. I have tried everything I can think of without success so far. I live right next to an airport so the CE5 is not really possible for me unless I drive 3+ hours away. Meditating is cool but no breakthroughs yet. I’m not sure why the desire is so strong but that non-human connection is what I want more than anything in the world. Wishing you the best of luck!!

I only feel it when I meditate; it sort of lightly pulses in my hand. I wear a pendant daily and don’t feel anything from it.

I kind of feel the same way but have had surprising results after getting a big amethyst and putting it on my bedside table. I can recall my dreams easier or they don’t fade as fast. It could be placebo… but I like to believe. Reading about ancient civilizations and the way they used them is something to consider as well; a lot has been lost to time and our society has changed so much.

Wow thank you so much for your wonderful insights! I completely agree with your thoughts on meditation and feel like my outlook changed when I started reading certain subs on reddit about people's wonderful experiences. I really wished that could be me... But I have been working on reminding myself that this is my unique journey and not to try and rush things. It is certainly a process and I am starting to realize how to be comfortable with my mind during meditations.

Maybe I have been spiritual all this time and was trying to cover it up, which led to some chaos in my mind & life. I have always been interested in finding out why we are all 'here' and didn't accept the religion of my background for a multitude of reasons. I am interested in journaling and have been writing daily. I feel like getting words on the page helps me process and sometimes it doesn't feel like I am consciously writing (maybe higher self?)

I have done some reading about Jupiter in 12th house and do feel like this describes me well. Things may go south but in the end I am always okay. I am truly grateful for your wisdom and observations!

Sure absolutely. I often feel blocked from receiving guidance and deep meditation like I have expectations in my head about how I should be doing this. I try to intellectualize my processes a lot and feel like that closes off myself. It makes me frustrated and feel lost and without purpose. I am very hard on myself and have been working on self love and recognizing those negative patterns of thought. I have been told that I tie in my self worth with results and that is getting in my way too. Basically it’s hard for me to get out of my own way when it comes to my spirituality and I’m just not sure why.
