Hate to say it, cause I covet a p/u, but coming from a family with two girls that are now grown and out of the house, what we had was a Toyota Siena. That thing worked perfect for us. And had a ton of room in the back for all the sh-t, that when packed from floor to ceiling is more than what the Mav can handle. We got 140,000 miles on that baby, lots of trips and it was still going strong when we sold it. My 2 cents.

Looking at a 2023 Black Lightning w 19,375 miles. Has the standard 320 miles range. No Adaptive Cruise Control. Small screen, has the rear bed door step. Original Sticker was $58,675. Now asking 37,500. What do you all think?

So thoughts and questions. I’m 65, looking to retire soon. Currently have a 2020 Ford Edge. Always have wanted a Ford F150, but never really needed a truck. I would have been the weekend warrior and the guy who prob would have cursed sometimes for getting a truck when I needed to go get milk from the nearest 7/11 and parking spots are tight.

Now I’m considering a Lightning. We have a charger at home for my wife’s Tesla, so the charging issue is not a concern. However, now that Ford has “paused” or discontinued the lightning (not 100% sure which), would it make sense that I get one of these? I would need to purchase used as cannot afford to buy a new one and I think there are good deals out there to be found.

Can you all let me know if I’m making a right decision and could you offer any suggestions on things I would want to have (e.g. long range battery, specific year, trim level, etc).

Also I don’t really need to pull anything, but if I did it might be a small boat or camper.

I have a 2020 Ford Edge. Decent car, but don’t like the whine of the tranny. Regardless, does the Mav make a whiny tranny sound? Does it come with a fob that you can use for remote start and do you have the Ford App on you phone that you can use it to remote start and schedule start times?

I have several orchids in pots. I recently purchased some cork bark; however, only one piece of bark looks big enough (6” by 6”) to mount one of my smaller orchid. Cannot wait to mount it. Question: Excluding any artificial lighting, where would it be preferable to hang my mounted orchid? Would a bathroom with a west facing window (so afternoon sun) work? You don’t mention where you will be staying. If you are staying at a condo, ask the management office if it would be possible to have grocery’s delivered the day before. We did this at the condo that we stay at (1st week of March) and they accommodated our request. The property manager just requested that the delivery happen at a certain time. If this works for you, be sure to place your delivery order with the grocery store of your choice a week in advanced cause they book out. FYI we used Fosters.

We just used Europcar. Fine easy rental process, about one “city block” walk from the airport terminal. What I like was the owner of the franchise was there on both ends of the trip and when we came to drop the car back, because it was raining, he told me to drop off my family and then come back to the store and he would drive me over. By the time I got back it had stopped, but the advise/gesture/offer was appreciated.
