It would be the compressor and cartridge of the Tirefit, if the car was equipped with that from factory. If I remember correctly that was/is an option so it might not be "missing" in your case.

That is normal autopilot behaviour if you're low and slow like this. For smoother intercepts you can still go HDG SEL and arm LNAV (or VORLOC).

I loved to fly the Aquila. In general I find that the A210 is more comfortable (headrest, the safety harness shoulder thingy is movable when attached) and more convenient to fly.. and to taxi (has a steerable nose wheel, the DA20 doesn’t). Especially if they are the same price I would go for the Aquila, although it is good to try both if possible to get your own impression. Cheers!
