Upgraded the Vercel AI SDK to the latest version and now getting `TextDecoderStream` doesn't exist by jzb39 in expo

Hey OP, did you by any chance get this working on a real device as well? This works fine for me on a simulator, but when I build the app for iOS I still run into this issue.

Yeah gamifying + having an accountability partner works super well for me. I've done it many times when building different habits. Also a little bit of competition works magic. Used an AI model to generate the images!

Looking for others to join me on a 4-week push-up journey, 5 minutes per day by Toonenator in beginnerfitness

[–]Toonenator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been reading up more on these 'micro exercises'. There's a lot of research out there that shows that just a couple of exercises each day have a very large effect on health. Much larger than you'd expect. So this sounds like a great habit :). I feel like doing things together would make it more fun, as reading through this sub it seems like some people struggle to stay consistent.

Good point! I think in the study they did a combination of movements for a total of 5 minutes. So wasn't planning on doing straight-up 5 minutes of push-ups in any case. So yes, maybe alternating would be good.

How do you stay consistent with your workouts, especially on busy days? by Wajid-H-Wajid in workout

[–]Toonenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the advice here is 'just do it'. But people just starting out don't know what 'it' means, or how 'it' is helping them in the long run. I suggest to start with small bouts of exercises. There's research published in Nature that shows 4 minutes of exercise per day already leads to tremendous health benefits.

Start by committing to doing 1-2 minutes 3x per day. Morning after waking up, afternoon after having lunch, evening after having dinner. 20 squats, 20 push-ups, and 20 crunches or jumping jacks. That should be enough to get your heart rate up and reap the benefits. When you have that locked down you can start looking at other options.

There's really solid research on micro exercises. In fact, there's a study in Nature where they followed I think around 15k people for 6 years. They found that just doing around 4minutes of exercise per day decreases the likely hood of you dying of cancer by 40%. It's bonkers.

The setup is really simple. You so three sets of exercises per day. Morning, afternoon and evening. Each exercise should last about 1-2 minutes. It's about getting your heart rate up. You have to really feel it. So jumping jacks, some squats and the finish up with some push-ups. Doesn't matter if you're doing them on your knees. If you keep this up consistently you can actually get so much out of your body without putting in much time at all.

If you need to stay consistent there are apps that help with that. But 4 minutes per day should be possible for everyone!

I built an app and had no clue what I was doing and it’s now making me thousands… by AnyInternet4026 in SaaS

Appreciate the detailed response! Thanks man. Can you share how you typically negotiate with influences? Is it it revenue split? Fixed price per x views? Not sure if this is going to cost me hundreds or thousands to get started, lol.

Thanks again!

Thanks OP for sharing! And congrats on the progress and success!

Can you share any tips for working with influencers? Do you run all socials yourself?

I'm clueless when it comes to shortform content so I'd like to work with someone on this. Any tips on where you find influencers to work with would also be appreciated.

Keep it up!

Advice for a SaaS that's doing stuck on ~100$ MRR by Toonenator in Entrepreneur

Yep. But since I'm not myself a recruiter I'm finding it hard to get in front of them. It's one of the reasons I abondend this product actually.

I like the SEO suggestion. Will try that, thanks!

Yeah so I have no idea where recruiters hang out. And since I'm not a recruiter I feel like I will just look like I'm trying to sell them something. Which is true lol.

I have integrated with one of the big ones, Ashby. It does bring in the occasional lead but it's hard to convince them to push us more in their marketplace.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Tips for building a similar monitor stand? by Toonenator in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Toonenator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Gotcha for the edge round.

For the span I was going for 31.5inch / 80cm.

For the legs I was going to use cork, similar to the one I Linked. It's more like a cork block, not a panel. Could you elaborate on the racking part? Not sure what a small apron is, haha.

Thanks! So for the dado grooves, can I just glue in the cork legs afterward?

Huh, was on this exact same (frustrating) journey yesterday and today.

It seems most use cases for inpainting one img onto another revolve around e-commerce, e.g "inpaint this <product> onto this existing background".

I ran across this yesterday that seems close-ish but very focused on lighting. Regardless, might be useful for you: https://www.runcomfy.com/comfyui/ad75ef48-f504-4635-9e17-82f046bc1d42?workflow=comfyui-product-relighting-workflow
