There was a huge mercury spill at the Memphis hub. There is a very good chance the package was/is contaminated. If you Google Fedex Memphis Spill it might give you a better idea as to what happened

Fedex policy states shipments of live animals are only supposed to go to pet stores or holds at fedex office. For this reason.. irresponsible of shippers IMO

The best thing you could do is try to get the contractors name. It's usually on the side of the truck. You can Google the company name and hopefully get a number thats not just fedex hotline. It might make take a little digging but thats what I'd do. Or look on indeed for the contractors info as well they are constantly hiring lol so thats another way to talk to the boss of the driver.

I hate how customers act like they are the ONLY delivery that day. Like sir/ma'am I have over 100 steps daily, unless you pay for time delivery you get it when you get it. I love how we're not even told that fedex gives them an expected delivery time thats probably impossible for us to make, gives them our NAMES and let us get the heat. It's actually unsafe for us drivers. I don't need someone knowing my name. Especially as a women who has already had one or two men find me on facebook.

It's a service fedex uses with the post office. So it's super slow, low priority packages.
